What is Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF)
Regulation Crowdfunding — “Reg CF” for short — is an SEC- regulated exemption that establishes a regulated pathway for eligible private U.S. companies raise money online from a wider pool of investors. Instead of only courting venture firms or accredited investors, businesses can raise limited amounts from their own communities , all under SEC rules and investor limits.
In short: Reg CF widens who can invest and who can raise—within clear regulatory guardrails.
